- does anybody really know? - because I care ending to rest, I know what that's all about I don't need the poisons, to make the same mistakes I just need a reason, that's how my heart breaks when I choose to believe and then I'm deceived I feel betrayed by my own senses and then all I can do is get lost in the blue pretending I have no defenses because I don't want them, I want to believe that I can trust someone unconditionally but I've yet to find one, who does not lie and I keep trying and finding more misery so I fall from my hopeful peaks and I hit the ground real hard and I feel the deepest pains I can find in this world and then I look around to find nobody cares so I pick myself up and climb back up the stairs because I care, that's why I hurt because I care, that's why I fall because I care, that's why I fly that's why I try to give my all that's why I risk the hardest fall for I will answer my love's call because I care, more than I fear because I care, that's why I give because I care, that's why I share that's why I stay, that's why I live that's why I risk everything every time that's why I write another rhyme and if I burn out before I find the one then I'll accept that as my fate but I shall not give up or quit on the dream no matter how hard, no matter how late I will climb back up to the highest stair and fly... because I care I live... because I care I die... because I care I give... because I care I live because I care because I care so I know what I'm doing, I'm taking my time not really pretending, just waiting in line and sometimes sitting out, with fools in the hill it may just be crazy, but I always will choose to choose to believe even when I'm deceived and feel betrayed by my own senses I will continue to learn what is true and let down all of my defenses because I don't want to shut this life out I want to trust somebody unconditionally I want to feel and share as much as possible for that is my dream of the best ecstasy and I will scale my highest peaks and if I fall, I fall and I will risk the deepest pains and if I die, I die and I will keep my eyes open somebody cares, I do and I will fly again and this is why because I care, that's why I hurt because I care, that's why I fall because I care, that's why I fly that's why I try to give my all that's why I risk the hardest fall for I will answer my love's call because I care, more than I fear because I care, that's why I give because I care, that's why I share that's why I stay, that's why I live that's why I risk everything every time that's why I write another rhyme and if I do not find the one in this life then I'll accept that as my fate but I shall not give up or quit on my dream no matter how hard, no matter how late I will climb back up to the highest stair and fly... because I care I live... because I care I die... because I care I give... because I care I live because I care because I care
